Watched the countdown yesterday. Thank goodness V6 and Tokio were there too. Sadly, Tackey & Tsubasa couldn't make it together. But it was their year of solos in 2008, I'm really happy they can manage alone, and it seems they really enjoy their individual projects, which is great!

Arashi are hosts again. With their singles doing so well last year, their faces looked as bright as a bubble. Countdown is the time I catch up on other Johnny songs released throughout the previous year. That means songs from V6, News, Kanjani8 and T&T are already familiar to me but those of Arashi, Kattun, Tokio, Kinki Kids etc. now would probably be the first time I'm listening to them.

Managed to get the entire 3 hour show from torrent at jpopsuki. It was looooong but worth the watch. Since it's the 50th anniversary of this music show, there are various "going-back in time" parts along the way. It was very exciting to see how many songs I've heard before. Also, I've wanted to learn how to make HQ screencaps for awhile now, so did a bit of self-learning today. Below are my thoughts on some of the performances and little bits and pieces of the show. Very image heavy, so be careful!!

Did this pv come out today or yesterday? But I think in the je fandom, time is irrelevant. There are already tons of posts on this pv at news_jpop. People have even found time to make icons. But its good for fangirls like me ne, I can easily find whatever I want. So whoever wants the pv, mp4 version of the pv, ringtone, kanji lyrics etc. they are all out already! go find then at the community. haha...  

About the pv, it really suits the song. This is actually my first time listening to it. I'm so behind seeing that the rips were already out long before. Anyway, Tegoshi and Massu are sooo adorable!! The concept of them being angels showering rain on earth so that the young boy and girl can share an umbrella is lovely. The tune is so typical Tegomass but their voices blend so well that the song sounds really good! Really like the whole package. No wonder they are my second fav after Ryo, I'm so fangirling them here. haha.. 

Two points to make though. Whats with the clothes?? White = angels yes, but the frills are too much. Ok, I'll chose to ignore that. But poor Tegoshi, he looks really tired. Its either the makeup effect or they forgot to hide his eyebags with makeup. Its weird, they should have noticed it. Its aired already, can't be helped. They both still look good in the pv though. And I'm starting to like the song more and more!

This pv made my day! yay!! whoops, have to run of for class.. hehe..

Congrats little sis for you know what! I'm finding every reason to fangirl about these guys. haha.. Anyway, as a reward for your appointment, I give you News scans from May issue of Wink Up. The first scan has to be about Ryo, he staring into a cute rabbit! Isn't it adorable? of course I'm refering to the 3 rabbits!! I have a soft spot for cute rabbits (in this case, with cute guys is definitely a plus). Unfortunately, Ryo and Yamapi doesn't have a close up picture with a rabbit but Tegoshi and Massu does!! (and Shige but...)

News' appearance on the recent Hey! Hey! Hey! was hilarious. Watch it on the post before this. Highlights for me were:
- Tegoshi doing his 'sky moon walk'. that was cool.. although it wasn't what I expected it to be
- Koyoma showing off his karoke abilities.
- Ryopi moment: Ryo sitting on Yamapi's lap (everyone seems to have already commented on that oh famous scene on their journal) but Ryo's expression was priceless. When the downtown guy was leaning against Ryo's shoulder, he looked so comfortable! Ryo was totally going 'what is your problem??'
- Yamapi doing high-tech hula hoops. When he raised his arms to catch an imaginary hoop, hilarious! By the way, Yamapi in this hairstyle is ftw. Hope he keeps it like that.
- Ryo laughing while Yamapi was doing the hoops. Thats why this guy is my favourite. His smile is adorable~
