They have transformed into this gaze, and sang into a song
And you are like the rippling sound of water flowing into this poem
Knocking open the door to my heart, embracing all my hatred
Nourishing the drought, believing I can be yours
As though the sorrowful face from yesterday lingers still
Happiness can sometimes sting like a slap on the face
It is you who reminded me to not be afraid of dreaming
To not succumb to thoughts of habitual avoidance
As though we can just make out two trails of footprints on the corridor of tomorrow
Sadness has sometimes been flavoured by you into a piece of sweet
